A recent article in the Daily Mail Online (23rd April 2015) highlighted a number of celebrities who had aged badly. Celebrities included Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Brad Pitt and Renee Zellweger.
Whilst many of the celebrities in the article have aged poorly due to outside influences such as six children in the case of Brad Pitt or smoking regarding Johnny Depp, a number have been included in this article due to ill-advised cosmetic procedures in their quests for youthfulness.
Last year Renee Zellweger caused controversy as she stepped onto the red carpet, almost unrecognisable. Although she has never admitted having surgery, her puffy face, altered brow and line free forehead, suggests she may have had an upper eye lift, Botox and non-surgical treatments to firm the skin.
Lindsay Lohan is a classic example of some bad cosmetic choices. Whether she was wanting to refresh her appearance or change her natural, girlie look she has either had treatments performed poorly by the professional or she simply wanted too much. Sadly Lindsay looks a lot older and “plastic”.
Whilst Madonna insists she hasn’t had cosmetic surgery and its Kabbalah that is keeping her line free, her puffy face and line free forehead may suggest otherwise! A hot topic in numerous publications, cosmetic experts comment that Madonna looks like she’s had Botox, a facelift, fillers, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) and ribbon lift to her neck.
The moral of the story? If you are thinking of any cosmetic procedures go to a reputable surgeon.
